  • Candidates must be motivated and eager to learn. Must be capable of lifting 50+ lbs. and performing vigorous, physical labor.

  • Must be highly motivated and be capable of running all aspects of a job site. Must be able to manage a crew, coordinate the flow of work on a job, and budget time so that jobs are completed within budgeted times. Will need to read and understand landscape plans, and be able to measure and lay out plantings according to those plans. Applicant must have knowledge of plant handling, care, planting and pruning, and be able to identify a wide variety of plant materials. A degree in horticulture/landscaping, Master Gardener, industry certification, or equal practical experience preferred. Basic machine operating skills (including Bobcat) preferred.

  • Position requires extensive plant identification skills, and knowledge of and experience with local turf types, trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. This individual should be skilled in the safe and proper use of all common lawn and landscape maintenance tools and equipment (including but not limited to mowers, line trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws and backpack blowers) and know how to properly prune trees, shrubs, perennials, and grasses. The Foreman will perform and oversee others in mowing, edging, and weedeating lawns; weeding and mulching beds; deadheading, pruning, and otherwise tending to plants and planting beds; problem solving; etc. Must be able to recognize insect or disease issues when they occur and take the necessary steps to see that the problem is diagnosed and treated. It is the Landscape Maintenance Foreman’s responsibility to see that maintenance services are flawlessly executed and that each customer’s property is left spotlessly well groomed after each visit. Horticultural degree, TNLA certification, Master Gardener, or equal practical experience preferred. Must be willing to receive further education and training.

  • Must have the ability to and be eager to learn the technical side of irrigation, follow directions, work quickly with no errors, and work well in coordination with others. All candidates should have good communication skills and be able to lift 50 lbs.
